The Greatest People and Quotes (160)
(not necessarily in order...how can you order the greatest's?)
PREFACE: This section started out being the "Greatest Quotes". I have always been moved by people who have the talent for saying just the right thing, at just the right moment, and to boot,
it's something that makes you think (albeit something funny, unintentional, or serious).
Anyway, this section has sort of evolved. Every time I quoted something great, I was really quoting the person. And to get the great quotes, I kept getting great people.
So far, I have managed to stay away from placing presidents and other world leaders here. This is for several reasons. First, there are many great presidents, I believe, too many to list here anyway.
Second, typically presidents get so many kudos and accolades anyway, there really is no need to repeat them here. You know who the great ones are.
And, probably no matter which one(s) I placed here, about half would engage me in argument saying he doesn't belong. So, I just elected to leave them out of these pages.
So now, this section has also evolved, from the Greatest Quotes, to the Greatest People and Quotes. Because it just so happens that one aspect of great people, are the great things they say.
