01 - INVENTION: Portable Fountain

As a youngster living in McGregor, Texas, our house had a drinking fountain outside on the back patio.   I understood that my mother had it put into the design of the house, so to keep the six kids from running inside and tracking in dirt every time they needed a drink of water   (go figure, the wisdom of mothers).

Anyway, after becomming an adult, and having lived in several houses, I had thought about having a fountain like that at my house.   So, the need for a portable water fountain was born, one that could be installed on any hose spigot on any house already built.   It would require only the simplest of tools, and only a few minutes to install.   This drawing also shows internally how the foundtain would work    (Not shown is that the upper hand gate is spring loaded, so to automatically shut off water flow when released).

02 - INVENTION: Audio Controller

I'm not sure why I designed this audio controller (I've forgotten).   Most likely I wanted to listen to music on my stereo using existing equipment, because I was too poor to afford new.

03 - INVENTION: Bolt Extractor

Self explanatory. Assists removing bolts of various sizes when threads (either bolt or structure) are stripped or slipping.

04 - INVENTION: Ski Chair

I wanted to build a device that would help me learn to snow ski without falling down.   So this is what I came up with, a "Ski Chair".  An added benefit is that it would not only work on snow or ice   (yes, ice, reminiscent of being at the back end of a rope pulling seven or eight kids on ice sleds behind a car, in Littleton, Colorado, circa 1970),   but also water.   The handles on either side are snow and ice brakes.   They can be fitted with a small paddle attachment on the bottom ends for braking if using the chair for water skiing.

05 - Unknown Perspective

Well....this is just that....unknown.   And why I drew it?  Also unknown.

06 - INVENTION: Vacuum Extractor

This is a device that will extract a foreign liquid substance from living tissue when and where a seal can be obtained (required to maintain a vacuum), for example, snake bites to human flesh.

07 - INVENTION: New Fangled Golf Putter Head

While I did the latter drafting, the invention is not mine.   This putter head was actually designed by my brother, Roger Kidd (see original sketch).

08 - INVENTION: KE-17B

This is a metal plate device, demonstrating 3 dimension drafting in 2 dimensions, and corresponding 3D perspective view.
