Club member and professor Shannon Birdwell nears completion of his K-Jet DeLorean to EFI conversion at his laboratory in
west Houston.
Mentor O. Malbec, and lab assistants to the professor, B. Mims and H. Owen, cautiously helped professor
Birdwell fire up the beast
this past weekend. Birdwell himself was seen moments later clutching his head with both
arms on either side, laboring out the
words It'ssss Alivvvvve! Citizens residing adjacent to the Birdwell laboratory were stunned
to hear and see the machine fucntioning.
The professor was unavailable for comment.

We mourn the loss of club member Robert Bleier, who died of cancer this morning. He was known throughout the DeLorean community
for his colorful DeLorean art, as he loved the automobile. He also was a frequent poster on several of the DeLorean online forums.
And he is the designer/artist of this club’s logo, which we have used since inception of this website. We'll miss him. And our
sympathy is with his wife and two children. Hey Rob, you are still one of us!
